Loan defaulters warned of prosecution

Dormaa Ahenkro (B/A), June 30, GNA- Chance Brothers Cooperative Union at Dormaa Ahenkro in Brong Ahafo has warned 134 members to pay back a total of 84 million cedis granted them as loans and the interest thereon within three months or face prosecution.

The Union took the decision at a meeting at Dormaa Ahenkro at the weekend. Mr Albright Opoku-Kyeremeh, the Secretary, said loans given to members always exceeded savings and that had plunged the union into a very weak financial situation.

He advised the defaulters to pay back promptly to avoid embarrassment.
