After only 6months of the Akufo-Addo led NPP administration, the President gave himself out to be quizzed by Journalists on all matters relating to his term in office so far. The most notable question asked by Bernard Avle of Citi FM and the response by Vice-President Bawumia has been a talking point through out the week.
Meanwhile, the Opposition NDC held a Press conference and raised a number of issues. They raised issues relating to security, governance and ‘broken promises’ of the 6-month-old Akufu-Addo led government.
There seems to be trouble brewing in the pots of the EC as some ‘invisible’ workers have petitioned the Presidency for the removal of the EC Chairperson, Charlotte Osei. They claim among other things that she has engaged in some unconstitutional acts and thus must be removed. They have filed a suit at the Court in that regard. In relation to this, the opposition NDC has vowed to defend her and fight the ‘witch-hunting’ being undertaken by the NPP.
