The first round of the bidders conference is underway. The event will see all six concessioners selected for the ECG concession arrangement are present at the conference.
They are presenting the status of the transactions and updates as far as activities in that regard are concerned. They are also likely to deliberate on government’s proposal to maintain 51 % stake in the ECG under the arrangement.
Energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko has launched the first conference and currently, Ing. Owura K. Sarfo who is Chief Executive Officer for MiDA is presenting the house with the current status of the ECG private participation and where things stand as it is.
The event is taking place at the Swiss Spirit Alisa Hotel in Accra.
