LIVESTREAMING: Finance Minister presents 2017 Budget statement

Finance Minister Ken Ofori Attah is presenting the budget and economic planning statement for the year 2017 to the house in Parliament.

The budget which is the first to be delivered under the Akufo-Addo-led government will provide details of government’s expenditure and revenue generation plans for the year.

President Akufo-Addo in his maiden State of the Nation Address last week, addressed critical issues regarding his government’s plans and policies towards achieving development and growth in the country’s economy.

The budget statement being presented by the Finance Minister today will give Parliament and the general public an idea as to how feasible the plans are considering the financial status of the country and the monies being allocated to achieve the various projects.
