Chiefs in the Ashanti region and dignitaries have gathered at the grounds in attendance of the funeral of the late queen mother amidst drumming and dancing.
Hundreds thronged the Manhyia Palace as the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II sat in state from morning to dusk at Dwabrem in the Manhyia Palace to receive sympathizers as part of activities to mark final funeral rites of his late mother.
Burial rites have already been held for the Queen mother who passed away in 2016 at the age of 109.
