Accra, July 28, GNA – The 2005 Light Crop Season opens on Friday, July 29, the Ghana Cocoa Board announced on Thursday. A statement signed by Mr Kwame Sarpong, Chief Executive of Cocoa Board, said the producer price to be paid at all buying centres is 270,000 cedia per load of 30 kilograms for Grade One and Grade Two naked ex-scale or 562,500 cedis per bag of 64 kilograms gross. A tonne of 16 bags would be bought for nine million cedis.
