Light Crop Cocoa Season ends on Sept. 30

Accra, Sept. 22, GNA – Ghana Cocoa Board announced on Wednesday that purchases of the 2004 Light Crop Cocoa Season would cease at close of business on Thursday, September 30.

A statement signed by Mr Kwame Sarpong, Chief Executive of Ghana Cocoa Board, said in order to assist the Licensed Buying Companies to obtain the final returns from their up-country stations, returns on declared purchases would be accepted up to 1600 hours on Thursday, October 7.
