Letter from “Desperate” husband

Dear sir or madam,

I’m a German citizen, married to a Ghanaian wife for nearly -6- years without any possibility to live together.

I met my wife in Germany in 2000 and later on we got married in Tema. We where happy and hopeful to meet in Germany to live there together for some years. But then step by step the German embassy people showed us there teeth any claws.

First step, the didn’t allowed me to enter the embassy, to ask how to take my wife with me to Germany.

Later on they told me that all the marriage was just a fake to take a Ghanaian to Europe for money.

The embassy found out that my wife was going to see the family in Switzerland a year before our marriage. The visa-forms she filled where incorrect, because she wrote that she is married.

My wife told them that it was just to get the visa because somebody told her that it will be very difficult for her and the Swiss-people will think that she not return will to Ghana anymore.

The German embassy told us that they believe, she was married. They do not believe in any corrections, my wife made, they do not believe in her spencer-certifcate, not in any Ghanaian documents.

Even so the man who’s name my wife had written in the visa-form was willing to swear, that he was not married to my wife- the are not willing to hear him.

A lot of people changed their whole personal record and succeeded. Some people offered us a visa in a Ghanaian office for an awful lot of money. The connection people we saw them nearly every day at the German embassy.

I have tried with more the tree lawyers without any success. I am in Ghana two times a year to see my wife, I’m supporting her with money…

So why are those people at the embassy not willing to give us, what is our right?
