Let’s work hard to win back political power

Kumasi, Jan 18, GNA – Mr Sekyerehene Agyenim-Boateng, an activist of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has appealed to

supporters to work assiduously at all levels to strengthen the party and wrest power from the National Democratic Congress (NDC). “Having lost the 2008 elections, it should dawn on all that winning back political power would not be easy and everyone member of the party would have to work hard,” he said.

Mr Agyenim-Boateng said this when he launched his campaign for the position of Ashanti Regional Organizer at Kwadaso in Kumasi. Aged 61, he has served as both Youth and Regional Organizer of the party.

He said he has what it takes to strengthen the party’s structures in the region for massive electoral victory in election 2012. He pledged to embark on intensive membership drive and ensure that the leadership stayed in constant touch with the foot soldiers.
