Let’s work hand-in-hand – Napo

Education Minister Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh has appealed to all stakeholders in Ghana’s educational sector to make their concerns known to him in order to deal with those problems.

According to him, there is the need for the ministry to work hand in hand with all the stakeholders as a way of improving on the quality of education at all levels in the country.

Dr Opoku Prempeh was recently vetted by the Appointments Committee of parliament and subsequently sworn into office as minister by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

During his vetting, he mentioned that there was the need to break the monopoly of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) as a way of dealing with some of the bottlenecks in the conduct of examinations.

He wrote on his Facebook page on Friday February 3: “I will like to know what your problems are, so we may work hand in hand to find a solution to it.. Thank you all and have a nice day…”
