Let’s team up to develop District – Abbam-Quaye

Winneba (C/R), July 26 GNA – The District Chief Executive for Awutu-Effutu-Senya, Mr Solomon Kwarshie Abbam-Quaye on Tuesday called for effective teamwork among Heads of Government Departments in the area and the District Assembly to promote development.

Mr Abbam-Quaye was addressing Technocrats at his maiden meeting with them at Winneba to outline his vision and to gather ideas and suggestions for effective planning.

He promised to collaborate with the Heads and asked them to feel free to send their grievances for discussions so that collectively concrete decisions could be reached to facilitate their work. Mr Abbam-Quaye reminded them of the vital role they ought to play to enhance the socio-economic advancement of the District.

He said he believed that through effective collaboration and a sustained teamwork they could transform the District and collectively share the honour that would come out of their good works.

Mr Abbam-Quaye called for hard work, dedication and greater commitment from the Departmental Heads and Administrators of the Assembly and expressed the hope that they would see themselves as partners in development for better results.

During the open forum, the Heads expressed their appreciation to the new DCE for the interaction and assured him of their preparedness to contribute their best towards the realisation of his vision.

On behalf of the Assembly, Alhaji Ishaq Asuru, District Co-ordinating Director, promised to co-operate with them to move the District forward.
