National youth organiser of the national democratic party NDC Ludwig Hlordze has admonished students to reach out and go to various villages in the country and impact knowledge to young people.
According to him, the NEW PATRIOTIC PARTY NPP in Ghana as a whole failed to build educational institution for the youth in the country.
“They call themselves intellectuals,, how many institutions did they built, we introduced JSS SSS and provided polytechnic education in every region to take care of the human resource base of the nation . However, the NPP failed to fulfill its educational infrastrutural that it promise the youth, as former president Rawlings used his $50,000 award to build the university of development studies which today has graduated more than 85,000 students,” he added.
Ludwig Hlordze made these remarks in the Accra polytecnic during the swearing in of the tertiary educational institutional network TEIN .
He disclosed that, the NDC has played an enormous role to the growth of the education in Ghana, adding that, it has been instrumental in the provision of polytechnic in all regions in the country .
Ludwig further stated that, “majority of the people in the tertiary institutions will become managing directors as well as ministers as the NDC believe in empowering the youth,upon completion of your various course ,.whereas in NPP if you are not up to fifty years , 50 , you cannot become a minister .”
To this end, he said the newly executives must strategically position itself to reach out to th youth in the various viillages so as to impact knowledge to them ”.
On his part, the MP of Ho west, Bedzra Emma also encouraged the students not shy away from taking up roles in the tertiary educational institution network TEIN.
He said, As parliamentarians one of their roles is to protect tax payers money, and called on the students to support the speaker of parliament on the recent merchant Bank sale issues that was throng out of parliament . .
Fuseini Sugrinooma former SRC president of Accra Polyttechnic made an altar call to the students that in the history of the fourth republic the only party that has given hope to the youth as well as the goverance and developmenmt of the whole country forward match is the NDC .
