A leading contender for the General Secretary position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Kwabena Agyepong has called on members of the party to sacrifice for victory in 2016.
Addressing delegates as part of his campaign tour to the Northern Sector, Mr. Agyepong assured them of his preparedness to operate an open-door policy where party supporters across the country will be treated as equal shareholders of the party.
He further stated that he is on a mission to rekindle the spirit of sacrifice and togetherness and also strengthen the grassroots of the party by making them the fulcrum around which future campaigns will be conducted.
His tour took him to the Dabooya constituency, where he paid a courtesy call on the chief of the area, Wasipeiwura Kabasagya Ayame Yakubu Memuni and later met with the constituency officers and party faithful of Damango, Bole and Sawla.
Accompanying him is Musah Superior, NPP Parliamentary candidate for Tamale Central, Mohammed Abdullah, Parliamentary candidate for Sene and Abudu Abdul Ganiyu, Northern Regional Communications officer. The team is currently in the upper west region.
