Let’s pray to resurrect the cedi from the dwarfs – De Soso

The National Women’s Organiser of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Anita De Soso, believes with restless prayers, the dwarfs who are causing the cedi to depreciate will be ruined.

Ms. De Soso recently diagnosed a curious cause for Ghana’s free-falling currency, saying the Cedi’s depreciation is caused by “juju and dwarfs”.

The newly appointed Deputy National Coordinator of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) claimed the witch doctors who use dwarfs are stealing Ghana’s foreign currencies from banks and other financial institutions, and this inadvertently affects its stability.

“Do we know where they get the money from…do we know what they do with it? These dwarfs, the black magic is what have made the Cedi lost value,” she said.

Speaking on Adom FM, Anita De Soso stressed that “What I want to tell Ghanaians is that, there is nothing God cannot do. We must make an attempt by praying to revive the cedi. Ghana, despite the crisis is far better than other countries. We must be steadfast and pray to resurrect the cedi from the dwarfs”.
