Let’s maintain the peace – Amissah-Arthur

The Vice President, Mr K. B. Amissah-Arthur, has called on Ghanaians to preserve the peace and stability of the country.

Addressing a gathering of chiefs of the Gonja Traditional Council in Damongo on Tuesday, Mr Amissah-Arthur observed that peace and stability form the foundation for economic and social development.

Earlier, the Vice President met with NDC parliamentary candidates, the constituency chairmen, Municipal and District Chief Executives as well as the Northern Regional Campaign Task Force.

Mr Amissah-Arthur is expected to pay a courtesy call on the Buipewura on Wednesday. He will also meet with NDC executives from a number of constituencies in Buipe and begin a tour of the Upper East Region same day.
