Let’s expose false prophets – Christians urged

Kumasi, May 5, GNA – Reverend Salomey Amoakoah Adiyiah, head pastor of the Church of Light Mission, Ghana, at Bohyen in Kumasi, has called on Christians to expose false prophets who dupe innocent people in the name of God.

This she said would help restore the image of Christianity and help in the propagation of the gospel of Christ to win more souls for the Kingdom of God.

Speaking to Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview in Kumasi at the weekend, Reverend Adiyiah said, it was very disheartening to realise that majority of those who profess to be prophets, engaged in unscrupulous activities such as Internet fraud (popularly called Sakawa), gossips, backbiting and lottery all in the name of the God they claimed to serve.

Reverend Adiyiah cited an instance where one false prophet had sex with a married woman in the name of assisting her to become fertile. She, therefore, urged the few good ones God has called to fasten their belts and be courageous to expose the charlatans among them.
