Let’s all make voter registration successful – Dr Oteng-Adjei

Dr Joseph Oteng-Adjei, Minister of Energy and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Bosomtwe, has called on Ghanaians to ensure smooth conduct of the biometric voter registration.

There is the need for every person to be disciplined and accept to stick to right procedures to prevent tension and confusion at the all centres.

Dr Oteng-Adjei said reports of so much heat and violent scenes over the compilation of a voters’ roll were unacceptable.

He was speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) after touring some registration centres at Jachie, Esereso, Feyiase, Pramso, Kuntanase, Nyameani, Assisriwa, Brodekwano and Beposo in the Bosomtwe constituency.

He said he was confident that the technical glitches that bedeviled the start of the exercise would be fixed to allow for the smooth registration of all qualified applicants.**
