Let your actions convince others to join NPP – Obbin

Bogoso (W/R) Jan 2, GNA – Hon. Albert Kwaku Obbin, Member of Parliament (MP) for Prestea/Huni-Valley Constituency has called on New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters to put up the type of behaviour that would convince others to join the party.

Hon Obbin extended an invitation to those who defected to other parties to come back to their mother adding, “after all we are all one people.”

He said this at a victory rally held at Bogoso in the Wassa West District.

Hon Obbin said indeed the victory of NPP was based on the judgement of the constituents, who saw the good works of the NPP, adding: “We did not promise them, rather we asked them to judge the NPP according to its work.

He said the foundation was laid in the first four years and the building will be built in the next four years.

Hon Obbin mentioned Prestea-Bondaye and Himan area electrification as one of the projects that would be tackled this year. He said though votes were cast on party lines NPP would not discriminate in the allocation of development projects.

Mr Agyenim Boateng, Bogoso Zonal Chairman said in spite of all the misfortunes that came in the way of the MP, he was able to discharge his responsibilities.

He, however, said the MP stood for correction and expressed the hope that he would work harder to enable him win the next election in 2008.

Those who addressed the rally included Joseph Aning, the constituency youth organiser and Mr E.O Amoako, constituency treasurer.
