Let us dedicate February 28 to God – Apostle Agbozo

Accra, Feb. 25, GNA – A clergyman has called on government to consider adopting February 28 every year as a day dedicated to God for redemption of the nation.

Apostle Prophet Enoch Immanuel Amanor Agbozo, Founder of Ghana Evangelical Society, a non -denominational evangelical movement, made the call at a press conference= in Accra on Thursday.

He said “This day will be in honour of God for the election, reconciliation and establishment of Ghana as a chosen nation and redeemed people made Holy only unto Him,” he= said.

Apostle Agbozo said the day, which was chosen by God in a vision to= him, would seek to replace the “old Ghana, where sorceries, idolatry, colonialism and exploitation and military wrangling existed”.

He explained that God chose February because it was a historic mont= h in Ghana. “February was the month in which the First President Dr Kwame Nkrum= ah was overthrown in a

coup d’etat and the Christiansborg Castle crossroads shooting incident occurred”, Apostel Agbozo

said.
