Let The Blood Flow – Rawlings’ Babies Cry

A group of NDC supporters from various parts of Accra, yesterday assembled in front of the Police CID Headquarters, wearing red bands around their heads and arms, and demanding the immediate release of their Odododiodio parliamentary candidate, Nii Lantey Vanderpuje, who is being processed for court appearance over alleged electoral offences.

They later moved on to join their colleagues waiting at the Cocoa Affairs block of courts in Accra, where threats of ?Blood Will Flow? and ?Let the Blood Flow? and the chanting of war songs rent the air.

At the CID Headquarters they could not enter the building and rather waited outside it, and warned that should their candidate be jailed, hell would break loose on the country.

They showered all manner of invectives on President Kufuor and accused him of interfering in the work of the Police Service and the Judiciary to ensure that key NDC members were jailed.

One of the supporters of the suspect told the paper that, they a re arming themselves and are preparing to create chaos in the country, in the run-up to the December polls.
