LENOX Methodist Church assists orphanage

Awutu-Bawjiase, April 29, GNA – Some members of LENOX Methodist Church in U.S.A, donated second hand clothing worth GHc1,000 to inmates of Awutu Bawjiase Orphanage in the Central Region. They included Reverend Valerine M. Roberts-Toler, Madam Mercy Cronze, Qare Carolyn Valli, Cindy Nasman, Luke Fitch and James Valli. The rest were Oustin Lombardi, Cody Lombardi, Hope Chapman, William Nutbarown, Kelsey Clemont and Leslie Martin. Madam Regina Amissah Baffoe, member of the Winneba Ebenezer Methodist Cathedral, on behalf of the donors presented the clothing to Madam Emma Boafo Yeboah, founder and mother of the facility. Madam Yeboah praised the Church members for the gesture and appealed to them for more assistance for the orphanage. She urged local philanthropist and religious organizations to assist the orphanage and other such facilities in the country. Madam Baffoe and Mr. Kingsley Arko-Sam, manager of the Winneba-based ILO Edwumapa Cooperative Credit Union, interacted with the inmates and gave them words of encouragement.
