Lend A Hand Club supports orphanage

A three-day outreach by Lend A Hand Club (LAHC) has brought relief and smiles to the Good Shepherd Orphanage in Akwatia.

Activities that took place from 19th August to 21st August, 2016 included medical screening, mentorship session, and a party.

The charity group had support from Axis Pension Trust Ltd and other benevolent individuals.

In addition, the club led by Mr. Ernest Attimah donated 50 bags of cement for an ongoing project at the home, provisions, stationery, toiletries, toys and a cash amount of GHS 1000.

The NGO comprises of young volunteers across Ghana, with a chapter in St. Roses SHS, Akwatia. As part of LAHC’s mission, annual outreaches are organized to educate, support and provide humanitarian services to the less privileged in society.
