Legon sacks students for admission fraud

Accra, Sept. 8, GNA – Ten students of the University of Ghana have Been withdrawn from the University following their involvement in recent admission fraud.

A statement, dated September 6, and signed by the Acting Registrar of Academic Affairs Directorate of the University of Ghana, Mr. Enoch A. Amartey gave the names of the withdrawn students as:-

Azeezm Idiat – B.Sc. Nursing

Hiamey Caleb Elolo – Bachelor of Science

Abaloo Godwin Alhonse – Bachelor of Arts

Mensah Michael – Bachelor of Arts

Agyemang Frank – Bachelor of Arts

Ameyaw Eva – Bachelor of Arts

Fordjor Christina Aku – Bachelor of Arts

Osei Emmanuel – Bachelor of Science

Giwah Suleman – Bachelor of Arts

Adaboo Anthony – Bachelor of Arts

The statement warned the withdrawn students not to present themselves at the impending matriculation Ceremony scheduled for Saturday, September 8, 2007
