Leadership is about loyalty and courage- Rev. Nuamah

Accra, March 21, GNA – The National Director of the Assemblies of God Campus Ministries, the Reverend K. Nuamah on Sunday expressed the need for the country’s leaders to be loyal and faithful in the discharge of their duties to ensure development.

Rev. Nuamah said as leaders they should be courageous and truthful in other to accomplish their desired goals, emphasising that without a commitment to genuine loyalty, leaders could not be bold enough to control the affairs of the State.

Rev. Nuamah made these remarks during an induction service for the newly elected executive of the Assemblies of God Campus Ministry. He advised the executive members to be selfless and avoid divisive tendencies that could jeopardize their mission.

The outgoing President of the Ministry, Mr Simon Opoku-Adem stated that membership rose from 350 to 450 during his term of office. He said an outreach programme embarked upon in five communities in the Ho District of the Volta Region succeeded in winning 634 souls to Christ.

The new president, Mr Joel Nasimong, pledged to offer a pragmatic and selfless leadership to facilitate the wining of more souls for Christ.
