Leaders told to uphold virtues of humility, decency

Gyenyase (Ash) July 18, GNA – The Head Pastor of Caravan of Prayer Outreach Ministry, Reverend Johnson Ackah, has advised those in leadership positions to cherish the values of discipline, modesty and humility.

He said arrogance and pride could only lead to resistance and to make the people lose their trust in them.

Rev Ackah made the call in a sermon he delivered at the church’s fifth anniversary thanksgiving service at Gyenyase in Kumasi on Sunday.

He spoke on the theme: “Acknowledging the glory of the Lord” and reminded the nation about the need to be grateful to God for the peace and abundant mercies.

Rev Ackah said they should accept to live in unity and genuine reconciliation so as to continue to enjoy the blessings of the Lord.

He spoke against the growing indecent and provocative dressing, particularly among the country’s youths and said the church must provide the necessary leadership to tackle this.
