Lawrence Tetteh ‘begs’ preachers to stop predicting election outcome

Founder and General Overseer of the Worldwide Miracle Outreach, Rev. Dr. Lawrence Tetteh has admonished clergymen in the country to refrain from indulging in election predictions ahead of the December polls.

Several men of God have in recent times made projections regarding who will emerge winner in the upcoming elections, most of them for the giant parties, the NPP and the NDC.

In an interview with Kofi Tv, the renowned man of God cautioned pastors and prophets who make predictions about the winning party, indicating that this will merely incite chaos and confusion.

“At the back of our minds, we all have premonitions about who will win, but I don’t think it is our responsibility to be announcing who will win, it is not important….if men of God keep coming out to predict winners, it will create chaos and confusion.

Several preachers have in separate instances predicted victories for the two leading candidates in the upcoming elections based on what they claim to be revelations from God.

Speaking to Kofi TV, Lawrence Tetteh cautioned members of the clergy to stop commenting on the outcome of this year’s elections saying the inconsistencies with the numerous ‘prophecies’ had the tendency to cause mayhem.
