Latex Foam distributor gives to orphanage

Nkoranza (B/A), March 13, GNA – Mr. Unas Owusu, a Latex Foam distributor in Kumasi, has presented 25 student mattresses valued at about 1.8 million cedis to inmates of the Royals Child Foundation Orphanage at Nkoranza in Brong-Ahafo.

Mr Quarnar Osman a workers at Unasco Latex Foam Enterprise at Techiman made the presentation on behalf of Mr. Owusu. He said the Director was greatly touched by the plight of the children and the gesture was to supplement the efforts of the management of the Home.

Miss Joyce Anyomi, Mother in-charge of the Home received the items and described the donation as timely.

She called on other public-spirited individuals, philanthropists and associations to assist in the development of the orphanage. The inmates were so enthused about the offer that they gathered round and expressed their appreciation with a loud “Nyame Nhyira Wo ooo” in Twi meaning, “May God richly bless you”.
