JOYFM enquiries about the controversial Keta Sea Defence Wall has revealed that there is absolutely nothing being done at the project site and news that owners of 45 houses have been paid compensation is false. Our investigations reveal that not a single person has been paid any compensation. Apart from this, the fact that the contractor Pentrexx Ghana is alleged to have bloated figures is creating an uneasy calm at Keta in the Volta region. Opinion leaders and residents told our correspondents over the weekend that their patience is running out and they are disappointed with government officials who year in year out visit them and make beautiful promises whilst nothing is done.
