Later Day Saints donates bore-hole to the Madina Police

The Church of Jesus Christ of the Later Day Saints in Adenta has dug a Bore-Hole and donated a 850-gallon water tank at the premises of the Madina Divisional Police Headquarters.

Mr John Attah Koranteng, the President of the Adenta Church of Later Day Saints, said the project was made possible as a result of contributions made by members to their humanitarian fund for the provision of health and sanitation services and community development projects.

Mr Koranteng said the facility should be maintained to help meet the needs of the officers.

Chief Superintendent of Police, Mr Paul Ayitey thanked the entire membership of the Church and assured them that the facility would be used for a good purpose adding that the facility would not only serve the officers and their families but the inmates in the cells.

In attendance at the inauguration, were the Project Co-Ordinator of the Church Mr Clarance Baah, the Public Affairs Director Mr Kwesi Mintah, the Media Relations Assistant for the Public Affairs of the Church Mr Moses Nyame Ashiagbor, The District Police Commander, Superintendent of Police, Mr Joseph Owusu Bempah, The Madina Police Director of Finance, Deputy Superintendent of Police Marian Ampomah and other well wishers.
