Lashibi Christians celebrate Christmas at GEC

Christmas at the Global Evangelical Church(GEC) Yahweh Chapel, Lashibi, saw the members of the congregation clad mostly in white clothes sing songs of praise and worship.

Mr Aaron Vuha, an elder of the Church in his message, appealed to Christians to see Christmas as a turning point in their lives where God did not only through the birth of Christ deliver them from their sins but also gave them power to rule and overcome their sins.

He said the celebrations should mark the beginning of a new life in the hearts of all Christians and enable them to seek him always in their endeavours.

Special prayers were said for the peace of the country.
