Land guards stab police officer, two others in Central Region

Some persons suspected to be land guards on Wednesday stormed the Ojobi Police Station in the Central region and brutally assaulted some police officers on duty.

Information gathered by Starr News indicate that two other civilians were also attacked in the process.

It is unclear what triggered the attack Wednesday morning.

Kasapa FM’s Benjamin Amuzu narrated that a police officer and two other people were stabbed in the process and have been rushed to the hospital for treatment.

According to him, the police officer managed to call for reinforcement leading to the arrest of six people.

Amuzu adds that the Police is currently hunting for the leader of the group who attacked the Police station Wednesday morning.
