Lambussie-Karni Youth expresses gratitude to Prez Mahama

The Lambussie-Karni District Youth Link, has expressed its profound gratitude to President Mahama, for appointing Chief Superintendent Sylvester Bayuo (retired) as Security Liaison Officer for the Upper West Region.

The Youth said matters of security were very important for the social, political and socio-economic development of society, hence, the need to engage very experienced personalities in that field to advice appropriately.

A statement issued in Wa and signed by Master Prosper Puo-Ire, Convener of the Youth Link, expressed the hope that President Mahama would engage more of such experienced hands from the districts and the regions to assist the government in sustaining peace.

The statement also congratulated Chief Superintendent Bayuo on his appointment, adding that with his vast experience in the Police Service, coupled with his good knowledge of the terrain and social settings of the region, he would deliver to the benefit of his people and Ghana as a whole.

The statement made a passionate appeal to the good people of the region to co-operate with the new Regional Security Liaison Officer in the effective discharge of his duties.

“As a people, we deem such co-operation very important, taking cognizance of the rising spate of crime and the wide public outcry of insecurity in the region”, the statement noted.

The Youth Link advised Chief Superintendent Bayuo to join hands with all the relevant security agencies in the region to nib the tide of insecurity in the bud.
