Lack of funds hampers CRC reporting in Ghana

Wa, Dec. 8, GNA – Ghana has not done much in providing the needed funding for the effective implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) though it was one of the first countries to ratify it.

Madam Mariama Yahaya, Acting Director of the Department of Children said the lack of funds hampered the reporting process on the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) in Ghana.
