Tema, Jan. 6, GNA – A 21-year-old labourer at site 14 Community One in Tema, who lured a 12 year old pupil to his room and had sex with her twice and staining her dress stained with blood, has been remanded into custody by the Tema circuit court ‘B’.
Avor Papa pleaded not guilty and will reappear on January 12, 2005. Chief Inspector Teye Matey, prosecuting, told the court, presided over by Mr Stephen Teye, that on October 9, 2004, at about 1900 hours, the girl and her elder sister were sent by their mother to buy some biscuits.
He said when they reached got near the house of the accused, he called the victim, gave her 1,000 cedis to buy him key soap, and directed her to bring it to his house.
On victim’s arrival at the house, accused directed her to send it to his room. He followed her, grabbed and pushed her onto the bed, the court heard.
Chief Inspector Matey said the accused covered the girl’s mouth with his palm and forcibly had sex with her two times and warned her not to tell any body else she will die.
The victim however informed her mother when he got home.
