Labadi residents recount tragic explosion

Several people thronged the premises of the Louis gas station at Labadi Friday morning following the gas explosion that killed five, injured 42 others and destroyed several properties on Thursday evening.

An interested crowd tried to steer their way into the area to have a glimpse of the aftermath of yesterday’s tragic incidence but were warded off by security personnel present at the site.

Determined to fish out some information from the grounds of the incidence, many stayed on, monitoring happenings and recounting the incident to some others who were not at the site at the time of the explosion.

Here is an account of some eyewitnesses and residents present during the explosion.
