La, Teshie, Nungua residents protest high utility tariffs

Hundreds of residents from three communities in La, Teshie and Nungua Tuesday morning took to the streets to stage a protest against “high” electricity tariffs, saying it was killing their businesses.

The protesters complained about prepaid meters which they said was a “galloping horse”, [runs faster] hence the need for government to change them.
