Kwesi Pratt repeats calls for Nkrumaists unity

Ho, Feb. 13, GNA- Mr Kwesi Pratt, Editor and Publisher of “The Insight” on Thursday asked all fragments of the Nkrumaists family to forge a common front in a bid to wrestle power from the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

“We cannot beat the NPP government if we remained fragmented, hence the need to come together to foster unity and become a force to reckon with,” he said.

Mr Pratt was speaking at a forum organised by the Democratic Movement for Social Change (DEMOCH) at Ho as part of its public outreach and sensitisation programme.

He appealed to the leaders of the groups to sacrifice their parochial quest for power and be guided by the ideals and ideology of their founder, Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah to build the country.

Mr Pratt said he did not understand why they should all be professing the same ideals and ideology of Dr Nkrumah and yet could not come together to complete his unfinished jobs in the country and Africa. He also appealed to all progressive forces including the National Democratic Congress (NDC), EGLE party, the Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP) to form an electoral alliance to beat the NPP government because they have failed Ghanaians.

Dr Edward Mahama, a leading member of the Peoples National Convention (PNC), said it was his cherished dream to see all Nkrumaists to come under one umbrella “to do best where people failed to glitter”. He pledged his support towards the realisation of this dream by inviting all true Nkrumaists to come together.
