Kwesi Botchwey Launches Campaign Today

Former Finance Minister and aspiring NDC Presidential candidate, Dr Kwesi Botchwey will launch his campaign on Saturday. He told newsmen that his campaign will be clean and civil. “I will not be harsh, I will not throw dirt. I will be civil in my campaign whatever the provocation.” Mr Botchwey made this known after paying a courtesy call on some leaders of Parliament and observing proceedings in the House.

He praised the NDC members for their contributions in the House saying that “even after our defeat, they kept their cool and never gave up. I am very proud of my people. They have been very critical where they should and very co-operative where they should. I know they do all this in the national interest.”

Kwesi Botchwey’s contender, Professor Atta Mills has already launched his campaign and is touring various parts of the country.
