Kwaw Kese returns to court today

The Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly Circuit Court will today, Tuesday, decide on whether to grant bail to hiplife artiste, Kwaw Kese, as he makes his fourth appearance in court.

Kwaw Kese, known formally as Emmanuel Botchway, made his fourth bail attempt on Monday, December 22.

The rapper was arrested by the Police in the Ashanti Region for allegedly smoking a substance suspected to be Indian hemp at a drinking spot close to the popular ‘+2 Pub’ in Nhyiaeso in Kumasi.

The Ashanti Regional Police Command ruled out bail and processed him for court.

His lawyer has failed on three different occasions to secure bail for the “Man in insane”.

Kwaw Kese has, however begun a massive campaign against the use of narcotic drugs by the youth.

His colleagues in the music industry have been pleading with the authorities to deal leniently with him while others are campaigning for his release.
