Kwasi-Doi citizens launch development plan

Nsawam (E/R), April 28, GNA – The chiefs and people of Kwasi-Doi near Nsawam, on Thursday launched a two-year development plan estimated to cost 200 million cedis, to facelift the community. Nana Otieku Baah Amoah I, chief of Kwasi-Doi, who launched the programme, said projects envisaged included the construction of a primary school block, a health post and a KVIP toilet. Nana Amoah said the projects would be undertaken through communal labour, with contributions of 50,000 cedis a man and 20,000 cedis a woman, while non-resident citizens would pay 100,000 cedis flat. He appealed to the Akuapem South District Assembly to support the community in their efforts to execute the projects.
