Kwame Nkrumah Ideological Institute lauds President Akufo-Addo

Dr Benjamin Anyagre, the Executive Director of Kwame Nkrumah Ideological Institute (KNII) has lauded Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for supporting Mr Kwesi Quartey, a Ghanaian Diplomat, to be elected the Deputy Chairman of the African Union.

He said the President displayed strong leadership and lack of partisan thinking by aiding Mr Quartey who was a former Executive Secretary of ex-President John Dramani Mahama to assume the esteemed position.

A statement issued by Dr Anyagre on behalf of the KNII in Accra said the decision was a sound political move.

“The Institute takes this great opportunity to also shower words of felicitations to Ambassador Kwesi Quartey for his new career and pray that he pursues the wish of Ghana and that of the Pan African dream as espoused by Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah towards a great and stronger Africa,” the statement said.
