Kwame Kodua tours Eastern Region

Adukrom, (E/R), July 26, GNA – Mr Kwame Kodua, one of the flag bearer aspirants of the New Patriotic Party, (NPP) started his campaign tour of the Eastern Region at Adukrom in the Okere Constituency.

The contestant and his team would also be visiting Akropong, Yilo, Manya Upper Manya Krobo, New Juaben North and South and the Suhum constituencies to address delegates of the party and solicit their votes.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency in an interview, at the weekend, the national campaign manager for Mr Kodua, Mr Asare Boateng, said the team would also visit other constituencies in the region.

Mr Boateng said Mr Kodua was the best candidate for the NPP in 2012 and urged delegates to vote for him massively to take power from the National Democratic Congress, who, he said, had failed the nation for the 18 months that it had been in office.

The campaign manager said Mr Kodua’s political maturity and experience dating back to the 1950s with being a founding member of the NPP would bring smiles to the faces of the party faithful.

Mr Boateng said Mr Kodua’s core message was to ensure that the party remained united during and after the congress.
