Kwahu Easter : Twenedurasi Mystical Cave gaining popularity

Twenerasi mystical cave which is believed to be one of the oldest caves in the country is gradually gaining popularity especially during Easter.

The cave, which is situated in the Kwahu Twenerasi forest receives tourists only during Easter festivities. The cave is such that, one has to crawl in other to continue the tour.

In an interview with atinkaonline, the Assembly Man for the area, Abusuapanin Ayim Poakwa, who is also the supervisor of the Kwahu Twenerasi Mystical Cave, stated that although the mystical cave receives tourists everyday, most of the them visit the facility during the Easter festivities.

He added that the facility lacks the necessary publicity needed to attract many people. He further said the facility has seen no improvement over the years even though some government officials had promised to revamp and promote it.

“ I believe the government’s intervention will draw people from all walks of life to the cave, and help boost patronage at the site, we are still pleading with the government to come to the aid of Kwahu Twenerasi Mystical cave”, he added
