Kwaebibirem appoints 200 teaching assistants

Kade, Oct. 02, GNA – Kwaebibirem District Assembly has appointed 200 youth as Community Teaching Assistants under the Youth Employment Programme (YEP).

They are the first batch to be employed to fill vacancies in schools in deprived areas in the district.

Presenting appointment letters to them at Kade, Mr Yaw Yiadom-Boakye, Kwaebibirem District Chief Executive, asked them to be humble and work with commitment and dedication. He urged them to participate in community activities in their areas to improve the living standards of the people and not lord over them. The DCE asked them to be role models in their communities, be punctual at school to take good care of the pupils that would be entrusted into their care and serve as good ambassadors of the programme.

Mr Francis Ayibor, Assistant Director of Education in-charge of Supervision at the Kwaebibirem District Directorate of Education, urged the youth to use the opportunity offered them to improve on their education.
