Ntiribuoho (Ash), Jan. 5, GNA – The Member of Parliament (MP) for Kwabre West, Mr Emmanuel Asamoa Owusu-Ansah, has donated building materials and cash to a number of communities in the constituency in support of self-help development projects. Ntiribuoho, Kodie, Brofoyedru, Akrofrom, Bomso, Sasa and Ejuratia are amon= g the beneficiary communities.
They received bags of cement and bundles of roofing sheets for the completion of various projects, including health facilities, washrooms, quarters for teachers, library blocks and rehabilitation of classrooms. The funds for the items came from his share of the MP’s Common Fund= .. Messrs Atta-Brobbey Afriyie and Daniel Mainoo, Special Assistants to the MP, presented the items to the communities at separate ceremonies. Mr Owusu-Ansah, who was a former Ashanti Regional Minister, had also supplied 1,850 dual desks to basic and Junior High Schools in the area. In addition, he is sponsoring the education of 163 students at the Senior High School and tertiary levels. Mr Atta-Brobbey re-affirmed the MP’s determination to bring progres= s to the area and appealed to the people to unite and avoid division.
