Kwabena Boadu was my rock – Bawumia

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has said his life has not been the same and will never be the same following the demise of his former Special Aide, Kwabena Boadu.

According to him, the pain of losing Kwabena whom he describes as his dearest brother and friend, never goes away, adding that this void created following his death is too large to fill.

In a Facebook post on the first year anniversary of the death of Kwabena Boadu, Vice President among other things described, Kwabena “as an unassuming, caring and brilliant young man who became his rock. I keep asking God “why”? Kwabena, I miss you so much. You are my hero. May your soul rest in peace until we meet again.

Kwabena Boadu, 30, died on November 24 in his hotel room in Wa in the Upper West Region while on the campaign trail, barely two weeks to the crucial 2016 general elections.

Reports say, Boadu died from electrocution in his hotel room.
