Kwabena Boadu to be laid to rest today

The mortal remains of Kwabena Boadu, the late Special Aide to Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, will be interred today, February 4, 2017 at the Achimota cemetery, after his funeral service at the State House, Accra.

The 30-year-old died at Wa in the Upper West Region during the campaign for the 2016 polls.

Mr Boadu is believed to have died from electrocution in his hotel room.

Dr Bawumia described him as brilliant, diligent, loyal, honest, and irreplaceable.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Dr Bawumia are among a list of mourners at the service.
