Kwabena Agyepong attacked at NPP headquarters

The general secretary of the New Patriotic Party Kwabena Agyepong has been attacked by the party’s Invisible Forces at the NPP headquarters.

Agyepong, who is an ally of suspended national chairman Paul Afoko, had the back screen of his four-wheel drive damaged.

His aide Davies Opoku confirmed the incident to Starr News on Tuesday.

“There were some exchanges between him and the first vice Freddie Blay at a meeting… a mobbed attacked him after. But he’s fine,” he told Starr News.

Starr News also understands a bodyguard of Agyepong sustained injuries during the melee. However, it is unclear what triggered the attack.

The party is yet to officially comment on the issue.
