The head of the Political Science Department of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has fiercely criticized the General Secretary of the opposition New Patriotic Party for the disunity and seeming troubles in the party. Dr. Richard Amoako Baah who categorically labelled Mr. Kwabena Agyapong as a liability to the elephant family further called for his (Kwabena Agyapong’s) suspension or dismissal if there is any provision in the NPP’S constitution.
The vociferous political scientist said it is surprising how Mr. Agyapong who must use his powers as the administrative head of the party to broker peace at all levels also join the bard wagon by attacking other senior members of the party in the media.
Dr. Amoako Baah stated that Kwabena Agyapong’s actions are that of an inexperienced person. Dr. Amoako Baah made these comments in an interview on Rainbow Radio 87.5fm breakfast show. Asked if Nana Adoo – Dankwa Akuffo Addo has been a unifier since his election as flag bearer of the party. Dr. Amoako 71year old Presidential aspirant can do in this circumstance.
The Senior Officer of the Kumasi based KNUST wondered if the New Patriotic Party is indeed prepared to wrestle power come 2016 per the many misunderstandings in the party.
