Kuwait Church presents items and funds to orphanage

Nkwanta (E/R), Sept. 16, GNA – The Lighthouse Church in Kuwait on Friday presented bed sheets, towels, shoes and GHC 1,000 to the Bless Children Orphanage Home at Kwahu Nkwanta.

Presenting the items Mr Eddie Amoafo, a Ghanaian member of the church in Kuwait, said members of the church made annual donations to assist the needy in the society throughout the world.

He said the presentation was the third time the Lighthouse Church in Kuwait had donated items and funds to orphanages in the Kwahu area.

Receiving the items the Director of the Home, Reverend Jeremiah Yeboah, thanked the Lighthouse Church.

He said the children in the orphanage, 34 in number aged between four and 20 years and two of whom are in at Senior High School, needed funds to pay their school fees.

Rev Yeboah appealed to individuals and organizations to donate computers to the orphanage to enable it to establish a computer centre and an internet café to generate funds to run the Home.
